ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP.

Four week-end Cumps were held during the latter part of

November and beginning of December at Fanling and were again Detɔurna

favoured with good weather.

Training was

for the main part under Company Commanders'

directions for field firing of Vickers and Lewis Guns.

On Sunday

NOVEMBER,

December 1935 a Field Firing Scheme was

arranged under the direction of Major E.J.R. Mitchell, 0.B.E. and

very successfully carried out by all units of the Corps (with the

oxception of Battery and Engineers) and useful lessons learnt.

The control of Fire and Fire Effect boing very commendable. This

Schome was witnessed by and favourably commented on by His

Excellency The Officer Administering the Government Sir Thomas

Southorn.

85 Dec. 1935*

On Sunday 22nd March-1936, A Command Exercise was held

under the direction of Colonel H.C. Harrison, D.S.0. and with the

assistance of many Regular Umpires, when again the whole Corps

including the Volunteer air arm were exorcised in their various

arms and their stamina severely and successfully tested.

This Exercise was made possible by the co-operation of

Lieut-Colonel A.C. Marsh, Officers and men of the 2nd Bn., The

East Lancashire Regiment.

Both the above Exercises were well attended and the

operations proved very popular with members of the Corps.
